Share your events page with the vanity URL redirect we’ve implemented across all Arts CMS sites.
Typically, the events archive pages on Arts CMS sites have a URL slug of “/events/event/” due to the plugin we use to display the event posts. We’ve recently implemented a redirect to the vanity URL “/events” on all Arts CMS sites if you’d like to use it for promoting your event page on other channels that require a shorter URL, such as printed materials and digital signage.
To do this, simply use “[unit].ubc.ca/events” on your promotional items and audiences will be redirected to the main “/events/event/” page seamlessly.
