It is not recommended to upload audio and video files to the Media Library of your Arts CMS site due to storage constraints, however such files can be hosted on an external platform and then embedded onto your website.
Adding a video file to your site
In order to add a video to your site, you will first have to upload the video to a streaming service such as YouTube.
Embedding a Youtube video
To embed a YouTube video onto your page, simply copy and paste the URL of the video onto your page and Arts CMS will automatically parse the link and show a preview of the video onto the page.
The URL of the video has the format https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEOID or if you use the video’s Share functionality, it will have the format https://youtu.be/VIDEOID. Either format will work when pasted onto a page on your Arts CMS site.
Adding an audio file to your site
In order to add an audio file to your site, you will first have to upload the file to a streaming service such as SoundCloud.
For podcasts, you can use a platform such as PodBean.
