We’ve made enhancements to accordions on Arts CMS, based on feedback gathered from users across the Faculty of Arts.
The updates aim to help users find information more easily, keep more content visible, and provide better control over their browsing experience.
The changes are now live as of August 5, 2025. No action is required for site administrators.
Expand and collapse all accordions
Users are now able to expand and collapse a group of accordions with a single click, enabling them to view and hide content from multiple accordions at the same time.
When all accordions are expanded, users can get more results when searching with their browser’s Control/Command + F function, helping them find more information easily.
Keep multiple accordions open
Regular accordions now remain open after expanding multiple ones (previously, opening one accordion automatically closed a previously opened one).
With this update, users are now able to keep more content visible, compare information between different accordions, and have more control over their reading experience.
