We’ve made improvements to our News, Events, Alumni, Programs, and Post Archive pages to create alignment and support additional functionality.
Updates include changes to the visual design of search and filtering options and the addition of multiselect for all dropdown filters. These updates will go live on Monday, November 4th.
Improved display for search and filtering
To create alignment with the renewed profiles and courses pages, the search and filtering options for News, Events, Alumni, Programs, and Post Archive pages will be updated to include a smaller search bar and dropdown filters. This is in response to feedback collected from students, staff, and faculty, who found that these options took up too much space at the top of the page.
Multiselect
Previously multiselect was only available on certain archive pages. This capability is now available for all archive pages, including pages that leverage the post archive module with search and filtering options.
Ensure your links are updated
- Please note that any previous links to prefiltered results on pages containing post archives will need to be updated, as previous formats could not accommodate multiselect. Once the update is live, please copy the new link by setting your desired filters and copying the URL from your browser and then updating any relevant links on your website
